A smoked Italian beef sandwich

ingredients

  • three pounds of london broil

  • big pete’s steak night seasoning

  • four cups of unsalted beef stock

  • twelve ounce jar of pepperoncini (both the juice and peppers)

The Italian beef in the crockpot with the pepperoncini

instructions

  1. coat your beef in steak night and smoke for 250 - 280 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 - 3 hours. (we used our Smokefire from Weber Grills)

  2. Place both the beef stock and the full jar of pepperoncini into a crockpot. Place beef on top and cover. Cook for 3 - 4 hours or until tender.
